Wow! I know this story broke earlier, but I just can't believe Matthews retired!

I think he was shoved out! He was getting obnoxious and pushy on his show! It was time for him to go! I tolerated listening to him, but it was hard to follow the answers to the questions he asked. It is to bad, but yet, way past for his exit.

4. He's always been obnoxious and pushy. The problem was

that he was also saying really off-the-wall things, plus there were recent reports that he had sexually harassed a female journalist. He was just becoming too weird and toxic for MSNBC to keep around.

7. I wonder if he didn't have a psychic break. I wonder how his marriage is going or if he has

unresolved issues we don't know about. If so, I feel sorry for him. I know he stopped drinking several years ago because he was ashamed of his behavior with women while he was tippling.

Maybe he went back on the booze. Or just needs rest and therapy.
