3. Not the content, just his method of delivery

"Therapies are sort of another word for cure" is symptomatic of his need to come across as well-versed, an expert. Even if therapies are sort of another word for a cure, so what? What's the point of him saying that? He's taking an indirect route to what could be a more direct and meaningful statement. It's a nuance thing...not challenging the accuracy of what he said, but the way he chose to say it.

It's a classic symptom of Narcissistic Personality Disorder ... you can't ever be seen as 'not knowing everything about everything', cause it's weak (in the sufferers head) to NOT know all there is to know.

Trump is literally incapable of not always fronting in this manner. Pathological Lying and NPD go hand in hand.

Therapies are ATTEMPTS at a cure. Therapies help to minimize symptoms, hopefully to the point of remission or cure. Therapies however, can fail.

They are not cures. He did not get that right.


The problem with Trump aside from the lies, is that he is not smart and he is not curious. His world is simplistic and he gets an idea (mostly wrong) in his head, then he cannot be dissuaded from that idea by any evidence.
