No. 1 issue at Pence’s Q&A w/ Senate Dems was poor access to testing kits, per multiple senators. Murray & Cantwell did a lot of the talking for the group bc their state has been hit the hardest.

While talking with reporters, Murray received a text confirming two new fatalities.

“There’s not enough test kits. We don’t know how wide it is. And it’s because the president dropped the ball early,” said Sen. Jon Tester (D-Mont.).

“We’re only scratching the surface of only getting tests out to caregivers,” said Sen. Richard Blumenthal (D-Conn.).
