(43,300 posts)Glen Kirschner has mentioned it every few days. He's got a whole process plumbed out. UNPACK the Court, I think is the way he phrases it. Don't imagine it can't be done. No one thought McConnell could steal a seat, or Trump could steal an election with foreign assist. Look at all the bills never to see the light of day in the Senate.

(43,300 posts)Republicans have found every hole in everything, from voting rights to Majority Leader privilege to gerrymander to ignoring subpoenas and Congressional oversight. The Constitution is a shambles.
House of Roberts
(5,186 posts)If there's a Dem President, House, and Senate, they better not ignore any subpoenas.
If the RW SCOTUS gets in the way, Schumer will have to dump the filibuster. If he won't, we're back to Obama and Harry Reid, watching one Progressive goal slip away after another.

Federalist Society
Judge Roberts has stated that he cannot recall ever having been a member of the Federalist Society. He sought and received published corrections from several major news organizations retracting earlier reports that he had been a member.[13] On July 25, 2005, however, the Washington Post reported that John Roberts is listed in the Society's 19971998 leadership directory as serving on the Steering Committee of the Federalist Society. The same source also indicates the possibility that the individuals listed in the "leadership directory" are, in a technical sense, not necessarily "members" of the society, and no confirmable membership information is officially disclosed by the Society itself.

More is yet to come. Stay tuned. November cant get here soon enough. The beginning of the end for these traitors.

(54,443 posts)Like upholding the ACA, for example. I think Roberts follows his natural tendencies as a right-wing Catholic normally, even on such far-reaching issues as Voting Rights, which he was only too happy to curtail in favor of his own Party. However, SOMETIMES, on social issues that he understands will affect tens of millions of people for decades to come (barring a future overriding decision), he reflects on what history will say of him fifty years down the road, and surprises everyone, both friend and foe.
