https://www.facebook.com/RepublicansforObamaDescription
Republicans for Obama is a grassroots organization of proud party members who all share one important trait we are Americans first and Republicans second.
Founded in late 2006 as part of the nationwide effort to encourage then-Senator Obama to run for the Presidency, our volunteer-run, grassroots group now includes thousands of members from across the nation. Together, we represent a cross-sec
tion of the millions of Republican and conservative independents who support President Obama's reelection in 2012.
Although we have campaigned, worked for, and voted Republican all our lives, we recognize that President Obama is the right leader for our country at this time. Our current Republican leadership is unable to stand up to the most extreme elements in our party, no matter the circumstance. Meanwhile, President Obama has challenged his own party on numerous issues, including taxes, healthcare and foreign policy. President Obama has forged a pragmatic, common-sense path forward during a challenging time.
President Obama has rejected the politics of division and the win-at-all-costs attitude that has hurt our ability to move forward as a nation. While we as Republicans will not always see eye to eye with President Obama, we know that his politics of unity will lead to a stronger America.
I saw this page when a Democratic friend of mine liked it. I went to look and found links to articles like this.
"Against the Odds, Young Conservatives Buck the GOP on Energy and Climate Change
A group of young Republicans is out to persuade their party to pursue a path toward a future free of fossil fuels."

Republicans may vote for Obama, then vote straight Repub in the downticket.

(12,471 posts)2. That's what the Dems fear.
We need a Congress and Senate for the President to get anything through.
With the Con's record on filibusters, and Speaker Boner's record on just not bringing up bills, it's gonna be the same garbage we have now.

We're being badly outspent by opponents who refuse to tell the truth or behave honorably in regards to their donors. They are gaining ground and it's very dangerous for all of us.

a comment made about a poll on building the infrastructure:
Kathy Parslow reassuring to see these numbers, now if they only VOTE for the team that will do it, in the House, Senate and White House.
