TRUMP on economic hit of coronavirus: "A lot of people are staying here. They're going to be doing their business here. They're going to be traveling here. They'll be going to resorts here. And, you know, we have a great place ... we're going to have Americans staying home."

rough calculations by an idiot (me)

330,000,000 (US Population) x .40 (low end of the infection rate) x .03 (3% lethality rate) = 3,960,000 deaths

I hope I am wrong and that "they" are able to make a vaccine, develop good treatment protocols and
that the economy doesn't take too big a hit but ?????

this morning in the wake of the tornado. I suppose the casual attire is supposed to suggest that he's there to roll up his sleeves and pitch in doing something physical and useful. Maybe he'll even chuck a couple of rolls of paper towels at the people who've lost their homes. Look for a photo up of him unloading a box of supplies from a truck. I remember one such photo post-hurricane in Houston...the video showed that his "unloading" was brief and stopped as soon as the still photo cameras stopped clicking.

Yet the media lets it just fly right by...
The only fucking economy it would benefit would be wealthy people going to tRUMP's hotels and resorts. The media needs to learn how to gang up on tRUMP to Pearl Harbor his ass and only follow up with more questions calling him out...
Make him get pissed and avoid the media... Lets just see if he can actually hunker down and resolve a crisis like President Obama did so many times, and by all means, keep throwing jabs about his failure to match President Obama.
