(15,179 posts)But I don't think even Slytherin would take Trump. The Sorting Hat would toss him to the Dementors.
OK, so I'm a Harry Potter fan. Read all the books to my daughters when they came out. It was torture having to wait so long for Book #5.

(17,500 posts)One was printed for England so it had the British spelling and illustrations. I can't say I'm an over the top fan, but I truly enjoyed the reads. I read the books while I was taking care of my terminally ill father. The escape from reality was welcome.

(15,179 posts)The fifth book came out when we were in Wyoming on a vacation. My husband can read in the car - I can't. It makes me car sick. Anyway, we drove from 50 miles east of Boise to Walnut Creek California in one shot on the way home. The kids were in the back seat, I was driving, and Chris was reading. Made those 13 hours go by pretty quickly!
Sorry about your dad.

I looked up the Potter books and I have read six, not four. My memory isn't what it used to be.
