If our healthcare system is the greatest in the world...

...then why do we have the highest COVID-19 death rate amongst all nations with with more than 3 confirmed cases?

Ours is 5.4%. The next closest is San Marino at 4.8%.

(My theory is that we have a lot more infections than the 260 shown now. Probably more like 500-600. But if we don’t test ya’ll, how would anybody know?)

We only have a few confirmed cases and a number of deaths, so it makes the death rate seem higher. It's just math, really.

Trump wants to keep the number of cases artificially low by not testing for them, but that inflates the death rate.

Furthermore, doesn't care, because he'll say the fatality rate is whatever he wants, and assumes his fake news will become the truth, just because he says it.

We have some of the best doctors, great facilities, and cutting edge research. The problem is that much of it is designed as "for profit" and while people cannot be denied service in the emergency rooms, they are billed and bankrupted often so that unless, and even if you have insurance, you are not going to go regularly. We also have HUGE gaps in medical care, especially in rural areas.

Conservatives argue that people from around the world come to the US to get treatment. Yes, if they can afford it. But the best healthcare is worthless if you cannot access it regularly.

It is bullshit American Exceptionalism mythology to say that "America has the best healthcare in the world". We have that potential but our stupid profit based economic mentality keeps us from actually achieving that.

Selling arms all over the globe.

Interfering in elections all over the globe.

This country is not interested in what is best for its citizens.

This country is owned and governed by Wall Street, Corporate Monopolies, and Lobbyists.

The Supreme Court has amplified inequality with their ridiculous and outrages decisions.

This country is corrupt from top to bottom.

White collar crime is destroying this country.

The war against marijuana is destroying this country and is responsible for many deaths and

destruction of untold families.

This country is #1 in evil bullshit.

Right now, it is like checking voting results one hour after the polls have closed.
