A curiosity poll. It's about watching TV and stress from COVID-19

When I note TV, I mean particularly news shows.

This is not to make judgments on appropriate/inappropriate reactions. Just curious about cause and effect.

I may do a repeat (if this one doesn't flame out!) and focus on social media (particularly FB and Twitter).

For that I read online and youtube medical professionals who are interpreting surveillance data and providing scientific information.

We are in an emerging situation, still a lot of unknowns. Best course of action is to be informed about what we do know and prepare for mass quarantines.

I am most concerned over the WH's incompetence in dealing with COVID-19 so far. We're way behind where we should be.

3. I think the reaction depends on where you live and how close to outbreaks you are.

The closer it gets to me the more concerned I will get but right now there is nothing in this state. If I was in Seattle I would be much more concerned than I am now.

4. I have a TV, but don't get cable, so only see snippets here and there at work or online.

I pretty much use my TV to check the local news in the morning or for background noise. Sometimes watch the old-timey sitcoms on MeTV. Not that worried.

I have a moderate concern about COVID-19. It is a concern among many in my life. A thing to be aware of.

Now, last night, my son in college sent me a text that he was not feeling well and went to bed at 9 pm. He hasn't got back to me yet, so I'm worried, simply because he is one of those annoying people who never gets sick.

but just hang here instead. It is interesting how little news there is. People complaining about the media whooping it up, but are they? I've learned more in the last 2 days than in all that went before, just reading different articles newly published that have more information. My anxiety level is where it's been many, many times before, which is why I try and mind my head.
