About 70 people were trapped Saturday when a hotel used to quarantine people suspected of having the novel virus collapsed in the southeastern city of Quanzhou, the People’s Daily, an official Chinese Community Party paper, reported.
The hotel, located in Fujian province, collapsed at about 7 p.m. local time. At least 28 people were rescued shortly after 10:30 p.m. local time.
