Okay, I've just got to ask. Is anyone else really pissed that idiots voted for Trump?

My rant for the day!!!

I live in a red zone. Trumpers everywhere. A two minute conversation with most of them reveals their lack of understanding and lack of thinking skills.

Every time I think of this, I get furious. These idiots, AND the idiots that they support by voting red, are going to cause irreparable damage to the rest of us. People are dying from this virus and more are sure to die - and it is NO small thing that we have an incompetent, arrogant, self-centered, ignorant moron in the White House because of them.

I don’t want to watch people die. Hell, I don’t want to die. But we are going to be forced to deal in ways we’ve never had to deal before as a nation and I am tired of being held back because we have to be kind to idiots. They don’t get it. They never will. But the rest of us should not have to suffer because of their stupidity.

I will vote blue no matter who and anyone with ANY sense had better do the same. I pray to God that we survive long enough to get this moron out of office and tell these idiots that the rest of us want science, preparedness, compassion and a real life again.

I want normal again!!!

Rant over.

The RW extremists who have trained them have covered all the bases to make sure they get locked into the cult. They live in a fake world.

So, I have also reached the point I no longer waste my breath with a Trumper, I have found it's better to just not to be around one at all.

... We both commented about how scary the public health situation looks right now, and I commented about how it's too bad we don't have a real POTUS in charge. My coworker told me he was "not a tRump* supporter," but "couldn't believe Joe Biden was the best Democrats could come up with." I told him I would GLADLY support Biden, and that, hell, I would vote for a ham sandwich over tRump, to which my co-worker responded that "his 401K looks pretty good right now." I asked "you'd vote for tRump* because your 401K is doing well"? To which he replied, "I'm a libertarian." I told him, "you realize that the piss-poor government response to this crisis is because tRump* has eviscerated vital components of our government"?

"Really, which ones?"

"Well, for starters, the pandemic response team from the CDC."

"No, he didn't."

"Ahh, YES HE DID."

At that point in time, I simply said: "this conversation is over," and walked away.

Unfortunately, what we previously knew as normal is going to be a long-time coming.

think of the sub-text and what Trumpies are inadvertently saying about Republican governance when they trot out this particular “Wicked Hillary” canard. (We know the Hillary stories are lies, but for entertainment purposes, bear with me) They are saying that Republican prosecutors and investigators are so clueless and incompetent that despite 12 years of friendly Republican administrations backing them, their guys are so fumble-fingered, brainless, incompetent, and stupid that they couldn’t bring enough evidence forward that even a dull-witted knuckle-dragged Republican prosecutor could move to indictment or trial.

If the vile “Wicked Hillary” canards were true, there’d be evidence. REAL evidence. NOBODY’S that good at hiding such evidence.

They are saying that Republicans can’t appoint competent people for important jobs.

But what stillbothers me is that so many Trumpies set cold reason aside, set their usual suspicion that politicians are liars and crooks, ignored checking to see if Donnie was a man of his word, then voted for him even while the tides of contrary evidence were rising in September and October 2016.

This was the sort of clueless behavior I used to expect out of sub-literate, recently-decolonized third-world countries utterly lacking in literacy or experience with self-governing republican rule, NOT Americans.

And they’re still doing it! THAT continues to baffle and dismay me. I used to think most people of voting age, particularly those old enough to have been around the block, learn from their experience.
