Huntsman should not be surprised that these vile adverts are run by his fellow Republicans. You are judged by the company you keep and he chose to associate with these yahoos and he is now paying the price.
Jon Huntsman Denounces Nasty, Jingoistic Video Allegedly Made By Ron Paul Supporters (VIDEO)
CONCORD, N.H. -- A relatively timid Republican primary -- as personal attack ads go -- took a turn for the vile on Thursday evening when a group of Ron Paul supporters released a video depicting Jon Huntsman as a Chairman Mao-style Manchurian Candidate.

When The Huffington Post contacted the poster of the video through YouTube to ask why they created the video and whether they had any formal association with the Paul campaign, NHLiberty4Paul replied: "Sorry, campaign has asked me not to speak to reporters."
The Paul campaign disavowed the ad Friday. "The video is disgusting. Whoever put it up should remove it immediately," Paul spokesman Jesse Benton said to CNN.

Speaking before the College Convention, Huntsman was asked about the spot, which features him in Chairman Mao garb, and questions whether the former U.S. Ambassador to China values "American values, or Chinese" and implies that he would be weak on China.
"I saw just parts of it yesterday," he said. "First of all, it is just stupid. Second of all, yeah, I lived overseas four times ... I speak Chinese, of course I do. If someone wants to poke fun of me for speaking Chinese, that's okay. The thing I object to is bringing forward pictures and videos of my adopted daughters and suggesting that there is some sinister motive there. I have a daughter from China who was abandoned at two months of age and left in a vegetable market, picked up by the police and sent to an orphanage."

(62,444 posts)McCain is ten flavors of nuts but having adopted a daughter from difficult circumstances abroad is one of his redeeming qualities.
Huntsman just doesn't belong in the same league as the other nitwits.

(55,981 posts)This smells like the Bush Crime Family and their Machiavellian thug Karl Rove. What a clever way to get mud on two candidates that they certainly dont support. I have been saying for a long time that Karl can take down any of these candidates his bosses want destroyed.
