Canvassing door-to-door in neighborhoods near my locale. At least I haven't had shingles sailed at me by racist roofers this time, as happened in 2008.

I have adopted a zero-tolerance policy toward any & all aggression on the part of troglodytes. I may not prevail in court, but I'll have the satisfaction of creating some degree of inconvenience for them.

President Clinton's call out to Michigan and Ohio in his convention speech must have been successful. Interesting poll point I saw today is the 52% percent approval in Rasmussen's tracking poll. He tempers his result by reporting a 47% disapproval to yield a smaller 5 point difference though. No doubt Ras has begun the move to "true up" his results on both approval and the head to head contest after being an outlier for months.

That would be pretty devastating for Romney this early to have Ohio be so far behind already.

He may not hold that big a lead. Anything can happen. But that would be VERY good news.
