The economy is literally on the verge of crashing due to the Coronavirus which he is completely making it worse. I think it's safe to say. He can't get out of this without reputable damage at this point. I mean give me your thoughts on this. I'd love to hear y'alls opinions.

But the reality is, he was already finished. This will just make it even more so. He has never achieved higher than the low to mid-40's approval rating average. You can look at every president for the last 40 years and see that they tend to get in vote percentage almost exactly what their approval rating is, give or take two or three points. He was never going to win reelection with numbers like that.

He NEVER had a positive majority in any poll, and while he continues to hold "his base" - it was never really that big, just loud and obnoxious! You have to believe that these latest developments will shut out anybody that may have been even "considering" supporting him.
An effective campaign run by the Democratic nominee, along with the support of the marvelous ads from M. Bloomberg should just slam the lid on any chance of IQ45 surviving this mess (yeah, this current "mess" is the "virus" - but the past 3-plus years have been the biggest mess of all!).

18. It's not luck. It's a feature.

Right-wingers have been corrupting our media and our political discourse and our government for decades. They have been priming 30+% or so to unconditionally support a right-wing authoritarian. They have corrupted parts of the media to spread propaganda, push fake controversies, and dwell on trivia instead of investigating and reporting useful facts.

They have made a concerted effort to diminish our capacity to object to even blatant abuse of office.

That said, I think you're right, people vote their wallets and the economic contraction, even if temporary, is a big problem for Donnie.
