Poor planning/oversight? Could be.... but you decide

This year, International Woman's Day fell on Sunday, March 8th.

The only day in the U.S. that had 23 hours.

Not even a full day.

"Ladies, we'll take a day to celebrate all that you are and all that you do. Oh, well, we'll give you 23 hours anyway."

LOL

Of course, I'm not exactly sure that there was sinister intent involved. I just find it curious.

every few years we miss one hour of sleep on IWD?

It's reaching.

IWD was, until very recently, a non-celebration. DST was a bigger deal. Apophenia?
