But in terms of raw power, he seems to have the upper hand until we oust him.

Maybe he's Christian Fletcher? But I don't want to paint her as Captain Bligh...

WWJD - What Would Janeway Do. As in Captain Kathryn Janeway in the “Voyager” series.

That character always rang my chimes.

For example, the Greenbriar nuclear shelter was built on the assumption that Congress would meet in a new venue. Couldn't the new disaster venue (called a COOP center in government-speak) be online?

That's kinda throwing shade at the President, who abandoned the capitol over the weekend to play golf. That's not nice! Everybody say it with me: Apologize, Nancy!

At the height of the blitzkrieg she was asked about leaving to take her children to safety in the countryside. She said “the children will leave when I leave. And I will leave when the King leaves. And the King will never leave.”

Good for Madam Speaker! That’s leadership. Nice that SOMEBODY in Washington DC shows it.

Find a way to keep Congress in session without jamming a bunch of people together in the same room. What else ya gonna do? Raise the white flag of Surrender to Trump and go home and hide?

that's foolishness.

I'm sorry, but Nancy doesn't do anyone any good, if she succumbs to Covid-19. Neither do any other members of Congress.

Now would be a good time to set up Congressional video and given speeches, and holding votes by telework.
