My message to our local TV station about an "it's just the flu" email they showed last night.

I found last night putting up the letter from Summer to be extremely irresponsible journalism. I don't care what Trump supporters are being taught to make believe wherever they get their news, you should be better than that.

I'd be happy to explain to you how the "it's just the flu" mantra has been blown all to hell if you like. I think some kind of a statement asking people to take this seriously is in order.

She said, 'Oh we have hand sanitizer. And my pediatrician said it is just another flu.' Fine, lady. Do what you want. Ignorant asshole.

The point is that yes you will probably survive but two weeks without pay? Two weeks home with your kid? Two weeks taking care of a parent?

I've got over two weeks of time to take off but that's fairly rare for a lot of people.
