How can he keep the pre-existing conditions part of ACA, without forcing everyone to buy insurance?

Without finding another source of revenue, the numbers don't add up. Otherwise, insurance companies would go bankrupt if forced to cover everybody. Gregory should have asked Mitt this very important question, but, SURPRISE, he didn't.

into which everyone pays, like SS as other countries do. Unsurance Corps eat up money that should go directly to HC, in profits. We are told that the new legislation will reduce their profits from approx 30% to 20%. That is still too much money going for profit when it could be used for HC and everyone would be covered.

So long as HC is for profit in this country, there will always be people who are not covered.

but I was talking about how Romney plans to make sure people with pre-existing conditions get insurance coverage, while simultaneously throwing out the requirement that everybody buy insurance.

be allowed to do that by his Corporate buddies. So I have no idea how he plans to do it.

What's astonishing is how he, the father of the Mandate in the HC system, has suddenly changed his mind.

Mandated Insurance was always a Republican idea.

I think the question he should be asked repeatedly is 'what changed your mind about your own HC policies in Mass? Why do you, who pushed for and won mandated insurance, now oppose it?'

Both R$R get to lie and make stuff up without being challenged. Lazy press, inept interviewers and easy, friendly venues allow them to coast.

I guess they'll love Romney for causing them to be bankrupt? However, Romney is not likely to become POTUS and even if he does, don't expect teabaggers to go along with keeping ANY provisions of ACA intact.

...without the mandate, they will have to charge you thousands of dollars a month per policy to make up for the extra costs.

In other words RMoney says that people like him, Ann and the kids will have no problem getting insurance.

The rest of you poor slobs can go screw yourselves...
