3. I think Mitt's nervous & worried & Ryan is certain he will hit it out of the park.

Romney should be worried. As for Ryan, The Biden will chew him up & spit him out.

There will not be any of this, this year:

vs. Lyin' Ryan and Ann's Hubby (in that order)

Bill came with a powerful "hand up" to a former foe ... deserves all of our gratitude. A campaign to remember. Holy Moley !! H. Clinton 2016 ... you betcha. They'll just switch places in 2016...Hillary will serve...if called, and I believe Bill just gave the Democrats a "dog whistle" signal!

As for First and Second Ladies...Mighty Michelle O and Dr. Jill Biden...not worth going any further.

Fortunately, it's a foreign policy debate...so barring something major and unforeseen, Obama should pretty much wipe the floor with Romney on that one... though I wonder how much the election will have already have been decided by then...

6. This I think is Romney's Real Last Chance

And I think he will fail miserably. The first one is the most important since it gives the first impression. I think that President Obama can get him off script. It really depends on how good the moderator is also. Hopefully, the moderator pushes for specifics from Romney.

I don't think his merry-go-round of answers (or lack of) will satisfy the viewing voter. I think voters are getting tired of the run around despite the fact Romney and Ryan seem to think that they can avoid the touch issues (and his tax returns) all the way through to election day. Once Romney is off script, then both feet end up in his mouth.

I am very anxious to see the first debate.

but so will President Obama.

Watching the carnage of the debates will be like walking onto the killing floor of a slaughterhouse, while reading the Book of Revelations, and amped up on an entire six-pack worth of 5 hour Energy Drinks. it will be like Brawndo.

10. Why do you think he'll do better?

All the prep in the world isn't going to turn Mitt into anything different from the pompous, affected fuckwit that he is. And, sure as eggs is eggs the President will draw first blood, infuriate Mittens and he'll go into maximum poutrage mode.

11. because of our utter lack of expectations

not because of his skill.

He won't fail nearly as hard as we think. but he will go down.

The only person we've seen Obama debate was McCain, and there was a measure of respect for the man that came out. Obama has no such respect for Romney. We've caught little glimpses of Obama dealing with people for whom he has no respect (Trump) - that was at a comedic event, and it still hurt. Trump's ass is still smarting from the whipping it took.

Romney will not be spared, and there will be no jokes to soften the blows.

We get no tv/radio here, but Youtube is fantastic for day after video. Now I know what days to search for the debates.
