I think there needs to be more emphasis on the House and Senate.

We need to undo the Tea Party revolution of 2010 in the House and keep control of the Senate. It doesn't look like taking back the House is in the cards, but why aren't we hearing Democrats screaming about the need to do so? Or did I miss it?

I wish Obama would say at every opportunity: "You need not just to vote for me, but to give me a House of Representatives that will work with me instead of obstruct me."

Or is this already going on and it's just that nobody is talking about it?

I don't get it. Why isn't that being emphasized? Not much will change if that boatload of evil clowns gets back in.

But thanks to 2010, it may be the best we can do to get Obama in to stop the House from having a President that will sign what it will do.

same in surrounding counties. My sister wants me to go help in NC, but I don't want to board my dog for that long or be away from home that long. Maybe she can find a week that is more important, it is not like a democrat can win or that someone from the north can change a southerners mind. .

Gerrymandering in our are area has all the Congress critters playing musical chairs. Our new district leans Democratic and appears safe, but nevertheless, it's something we need to do.

However, we live in Ohio, which has been gerrymandered to favor Rethugs in many, many ways. My "new" Congressional district is totally safe right now .... a gift to Dems. My new rep has no Rethuglican challenger. However, my old Rep is in the fight of her life, so have contributed to her campaign.

We also have the Sherrod Brown race. He has been targeted by big-time special interest money, so he is fighting hard against a total douchebag, who shouldn't even be in the running he is such a loser. I will be phone banking for Brown because he needs help.

Everyone is talking about Obama "poor" jobs record, but nobody seems to really hammer home the fact that the republicans in congress (and some Dems) have blocked his jobs bill and vote against the people's interest most of time just to put the screws to Obama.

Here in Wisconsin, Tammy Baldwin is losing to a senile old buffoon. Tommy Thompson was a popular (to the republicans) governor 20 years ago, but now he's just a joke. Unfortunately, I don't think that Tammy has the money to overcome his name recognition.

I ask because I'm not sure. I think I heard that we are likely to keep the Senate. If not, though, we should definitely focus on 2014.
