France seems to be repeating Italy's mistake

https://www.lemonde.fr/planete/article/2020/03/11/coronavirus-a-paris-un-nombre-de-cas-largement-sous-estime_6032644_3244.html

For the non-francophones, there's a serious lack of testing and underreporting of cases. Worse yet, here in the Paris region they literally forgot to ask the addresses of the 155 people who have tested positive, which is why Paris only shows 4 cases officially.

Germany is doing 12000 tests per day and France is only doing 1000, and doesn't have any isolation policy in place other than banning large protests. (They did put up signs telling people to cough into their elbows, but that's not going to cut it.)

Maybe the government isn't taking it seriously, but the people sure seem to be. The trai down there was half full, if that, and the Metro has only half full as well. The streets were close to deserted as well, and the shops were really hurting.

We've got Euro Disney tickets for this weekend. Strongly considering just eating the loss, as much as I want to see the Star Wars part.

So it's probably best not to take chances, particularly if France winds up looking like Italy.

Don't test, we look good by the numbers.
