true patriots who standing up for America and the Senate Republicans refused to do their duties as

7. The Republican Senate is completely complicit.

They were given a gold-plated opportunity to just get rid of the guy and they chose to pass. In fact, had they indicated any willingness to do their job, the impeachment proceedings would have wrapped up sooner and we could have kicked his ass out last year.

While I dislike Pence as much as the next person here, from what I've observed in his sycophantic attempts to deal with the pandemic, he would at least have been a little more inclined to let the experts do their job instead of overruling them. Yes, damning with faint praise, but I think that's the best we're going to get at this point.
