Trump's meandering response vs Biden's thoughtful pragmatism makes me wonder if this is what it comes down to in 2020: chaos versus competence. I am guessing Americans as a whole are weary of the Trumpian chaos and are now ready to embrace Biden's competence.

(18,402 posts)I've said since last year that this election was going to be a referendum on whatever the opposite of chaos and hatefulness was. After 3 1/2 years of The Crazy, people are not looking for Revolution, which can bring more uncertainty and angst. They are looking for steadiness, experience, and yesthat dreaded phrasea return to normalcy.
