Is it FOR SURE that any one of them couldn't mess with their own state election? I really believe something could happen here! Help me feel better that they CANNOT! TY

Constitution requires that President and VP is elected for only a 4 year term and specifies when that term ends.
There is no legal way for anyone to keep a President in office beyond his/her elected term.
If an election were not held, which also wouldn't be legal, then the terms of the Pres and VP would expire and the Speaker of the House would become President.
Of course, all of this is idle speculation, because if an election isn't held it means we aren't still following the Constitution.
