(3,157 posts)the spouse of my cube-mate works at the same hospital. She says there's been several unreported CV+ cases there. She claimed a doctor suspected one patient had it, but got distracted all day and didn't do anything about it for 6 hours, all while nurses/providers were in contact.
earlier this week I decided my issues can wait a few weeks.
meanwhile my employer's management decides to gather all 100+ of us together at once to cover the companies new pandemic policies.

They did send out a notice to keep meetings small enough to maintain the 6 foot separation.
Me, I grabbed my computer this afternoon, and I'm at home for the duration. It might actually allow me to focus on my core project, without the inevitable distractions. I'll hold meetings over Skype.

"The woman was in her 80s, the state department said in a statement. A UCHealth statement said the woman died Friday at UCHealth Memorial Hospital Central. The hospital received confirmation that the woman tested positive for COVID-19 after she died, the statement said."
