If the people in charge don't give leadership, people do what they know. Where I live, the closest we've had to this is preparing for a blizzard. People make sure they have things like toilet paper.

He said he understood why everyone was hoarding toilet paper, because the Coronavirus has everyone scared shitless.

That being said, the public health disaster we're being confronted with may pale in comparison to the public health fiasco a toilet paper shortage may cause.

Hell, much of the time they had more porta john guards than they had protesters at their rallys! Somewhere we have pictures that prove it, too! A sight to behold!
