I don't know about Dr. Fauci. I think he is hanging on because he knows he can help the country by sometimes contradicting tRump publicly, as he has done a few times already. Fauci has much more credibility than Donny Six Words or anyone else on Donny's team. tRump knows this and can't afford to fire him or ditch him.

In Fauci's case it must be absent-mindedness. It's a hard habit to avoid.

Start self-training now.
