Citizens or permanent residents coming from Europe. It was poorly thought out (what is new?) and seems to have been poorly communicated. So there is a rush on the gates before they are closed on Monday.

7. I'm guessing that blame goes to Trump for not initiating preventive action

for weeks while the virus was killing people in China and elsewhere. It also goes to Trump for dissolving the agency INSIDE his Executive Branch that was created to deal with global pandemics. He dissolved the agency because it was something that Obama created. And when the pandemic began killing people in the US, he denied that it was a problem more severe than the flu and expressed ambivalence toward the effects of the virus as it was killing people.

I could go on. But you get the drift. And again I'm responding to your request for information from the original poster, and I really don't know exactly what the original poster intended to convey.

8. Jesus Christ! Told the wife I wish we were stuck in Europe now.

At least they seem to be taking it serious and not doing stupid things like getting every American back in the country in 48 hours.

If this does not turn into riots I will be disappointed in Americans.

Because if Europe seems bad now wait a few weeks.
