We would expect his poll numbers to drop like the stock market

But they won't. After such a disastrous week where he showed a total lack of leadership during both a financial and health crisis, you would think that a good chunk of his deplorables might finally say they don't approve of the job he is doing. But they won't. They have drunk the Kool Aid and think whatever the problem, it can't be Trump. He's doing everything right, better than Obama on H1N1. Maybe when loved ones start dying, but I doubt even then.

November cannot come fast enough.

some pretty good evidence that the polls are skewed in favor of a constant 30-40% approval rating. I don't trust the pols anymore, anything that shows loser45 with >15% is probably manipulated just like the psyches of the "elected" sycophants.

Things don't change on election day, it changes after the inaugeration.

8 more months, he is sunk, and the GOP as well. the ammunition to run against all GOP politicians is unparalleled...and only campaign malfeasance would not take advantage of all of it

Probably more invested in pickup trucks and hunting camps than in IRA/401Ks. They know he's better than Sleepy Joe, or Crooked Hillary, or that Muslim Kenyan who used to occupy the White House.

Did you notice how much time BHO spent traveling to Hawaii and playing golf? More time than any other president ever! Trump is on the job 24x7x365!

I hope November gets here fast, and I hope there's still an election then.

While trump remains in office, so I would not believe them at all . especially showing they haven't tanked for him. He does have a history of corruption, and rigging things in his favor.

One hopes of course, that the worst case for those of us at the highest risk is not realized, but, well, just saying...

He's certainly been far more disinterested in protecting his constituency than he is in protecting himself.
