If you want to know what world Trump lives in, well its a world where folks like Trish Regan have regular shows that echo his flights from reality. It is a closed universe where you can have a Fox News host expressing outrage and disbelief at the seriousness of the current pandemic or the criticisms of Trump's response. Living in such a world, perhaps pumped from listening to talking heads like Trish Regan, Trump can say, "I take no responsibility," thinking this is just a big, elaborate scam to make him look bad.

Before this monologue calling a deadly global pandemic a scam, Regan was known for over-the-top pro-Trump rhetoric and for being the first interview that top Trump adviser Stephen Miller gave after his emails revealed an affinity for racist rhetoric and white nationalist conspiracy theories.
Lest anyone get the wrong idea here, there is plenty of awful coronavirus coverage on Fox that has not led to any consequences.

"... Norwegian University of Science and Technology strongly recommend that all NTNU students who are outside Norway return home. This applies especially if you are staying in a country with poorly developed health services. This also applies for countries with poorly developed collective infrastructure, for example the USA, where it can be difficult to get transport to the airport if you don't have a car. ..."
