About "14" day self quarantine at home

Last edited Sun Mar 15, 2020, 05:23 PM - Edit history (1)

Let's say you live with a spouse and 2 kids. You have a scratchy throat, temp of 100.4, so you quarantine yourself. As does the rest of your family because if you have it, you can pass it on before showing symptoms.

At day 12 (incubation thought to be 2-14 days) one of your children shows symptoms. The 14 day quaren for the family starts over.

You feel better, but did you get tested when you self isolated and was it positive? If not, maybe you had something else and now that someone in your household is symptomatic, you need to continue self quarantine as does the rest of the family because now you've been exposed if they have it.

Quarantine lasers until at least 14 days after any of you show symptoms.

I've family (not at my house) in this situation.

We need more ability to not just nasal swab people but get the tests developed and results back in a timely manner.

The Grotesque Orange Pustule has done exactly opposite of everything that should have been done.

I hope you and your family just have colds or allergies. Take care of yourself.

I hope it's something else, but whatever it is, I hope everyone recovers fully.

I am staying home as I usually do. I did buy a few more things than normal but otherwise, I have what I need. Seems like my whole area is just staying home, those who don't have to work.
