(15,539 posts)The ones that are the grossest are the guys who blow their noses as they run by closing one nostril and just blowing, oftentimes right as they run by you.
Yes, it's rude and very unhygienic.

Im a runner; I dont think Ive ever huffed or puffed on a person.
But boy, Ive had smokers do that to me.

(58,785 posts)choose to walk on one side to be with each other, crossing over as needed. And if there isn't another side on yours, for sure there's another street -- with excellent chances that it has a quiet side.

(11,914 posts)We live in a quiet development. Hubby was out doing his morning walk, on the sidewalk, and along comes a jogger up from behind him on the sidewalk. He was not happy. He passed a few other joggers who were running in the street, which makes sense. In our development, the street is essentially a huge jogging and skateboarding path - 2 lanes wide with parking on either side.
