done correctly. See this diagram to understand. MRSA and other bacteria samples can be collected by swabbing the nostrils only about 2cm within, but for viruses, you have to go deep and if they don't it is not a reliable sample for testing.

If he truly had the test he would know exactly how it was done. Since he can't give a cogent answer, did he lie about getting tested? He lies about everything else so why wouldn't he lie about a test that he would not want anyone to know if it came back positive.
