It was probably suggested to him to see if the change would bring a rally in the market.

don't fool yourselves and think one semi normal press conference means he's suddenly going to be presidential.

being reelected. Trump, Javanka and all the collaborators. They knew they already blew it right off the bat. Their only hope of remaining in power and staying out of prison was that it be a real minor thing in this country. Saying anything that would spook the markets wouldn't do them any good at all. They had to play everything for a best case scenario.

I think they're using tactics to shape trump's behavior.

First, they know trump is a loyal viewer. Yesterday, they were extremely harsh, for good reason. Today, I think they are attempting to show trump that their coverage of him can improve if he improves his behavior.

Clearly, trump still has a very long way to go, and he still acted like an egotistical jerk with his "10 out of 10" self rating, but that flawed performance is the only opportunity they've had to show trump that he can get better coverage with improved behavior.

Also, we're on the middle of a national crisis so we desperately need trump to grow up ASAP.

will kill people. They have to do something, anything they can to modify his worst traits. We all know he's a lost cause, but if someone can tamper down his most harmful tendencies, I say go for it.

Yes, he had some moments where I wanted to throw a brick at the TV, but he did come across as authentically chastened in my opinion. There was something different going on there. I'm not sure I would call it presidential though. And you could SEE him looking off camera as the clock wind down to 4 p.m. EST to market close. As though he was looking for a signal from someone that he had run down the clock and hoping for a positive gain.

You better believe he had his eyes on that clock. His tone might have changed a little, but he doesn't inspire confidence so the market went down anyway.

Doing their best to "round off Donnie Shit for Brains corners".

Donnie Doutsch said; "I've been critical of this president, but he did something yesterday he rarely does, he told the truth"

I was waiting for someone to ask Doutsch; "hey Donnie, how much fucking money do you lose everytime Donnie Short Fingers opens his mouth"?

In a couple of weeks the media will be praising his "bold leadership".

Man, if I could have been graded on the same curve as Donnie Dollhands, I'd be a Chief of Thoracic Surgery at John's Hopkins.

Thank you malaise, for being a good soldier and letting us know what's going on with them, for those of us whose stomachs can't take it

His so called change in tone is for financial gain. Now that the Kushner brother Company has the on line test, the fear of the virus now being real to all, including his brainless base, there is billions to be made from it. Remember, Kushner told Trump about the Google tests, being worked on by over a thousand scientists, and Google, after trump announced, said what? Everything is cash for trump and his family. And ‘God sent him’, Right.....
