Skip Acapulco: Support the economy in a time of mandatory economic strangulation.

Greetings:

This is just a note to tell you that I have determined to support my local small business people as though everything were normal. First, find out whether your local restaurant is doing take-out or delivery. One of my two lunch places is doing take-out, so I can get my usual fix. My small supermarket is getting as much business as I would usually give them, my on site hair cutter is due tomorrow, and my neighbor is just waiting for a warm enough day to pressure wash the house.

In short, there's plenty of business to do with small businesses, which are, in the aggregate, the major employer in the country. While we are all waiting for the feds to figure out how to get some funds to average citizens, think: Which of my local restaurants do I want to survive covid-19 prevention? Do I need gas? Is my barber shop or hair salon open? We can all get some money into the hands of some of our neighbors, and get a nice sandwich too.

If I have forgotten other kinds of small businesses to support, please list them below!
