After a very long hiatus, I am back!
Most of the grayhairs will remember that I was a Moderator here for some 7 years, (holy crap!)
When things changed in my life and I moved to the Boston area. A woman I care deeply about
sent me a question about DU and I came here and saw some HUGE changes.
When I posted my first post on DU, Skinner was in diapers.
I feel like I have come home.
Most people who remember me will know me as "ras". I can tell you, that rasputin1952 has many
a troll skull on my pike; I have no problem taking on the Blonde Demon and his vampire second.
Pretty soon I'll get back to My Thread, first, I need to get a lay of the new, (at least to me) site.

It is just so, so great to see you here! Ah, the moderating days...the group phone calls at the start of each term. I remember them so well!

Sorry to hear that you've been so sick, and hope that you're on the mend now.
I'm hanging in there. The triplets are now 19 and college freshmen. All are having online classes for the time being, of course.
