Why do their bosses send them into such situations?
Donald Trump wants to be in charge of everything, but he wants to be responsible for nothing.
Reporters should be permitted to walk out when he starts talking about fake news and how terrible reporters are and how they should sit closer together so they can all catch the virus and maybe die?
He does not give White House news conferences anymore. The reporters should not have to put up with this abusive behavior.

Trump has been deprived of his little Nuremberg rallies, and he desperately needs an audience at all times. Deprive him of the press audience as well, and he will gyre further out of control. He's not called Needy Amin for nothing.

(30,736 posts)ahead of time and bird-dog trump. If he does not answer, or gives an outrageous answer, someone else can ask the question in another form. They can repeat it as often as necessary. This can be done calmly and somewhat respectfully.
He may melt down. He may contradict himself. Maybe we will see a little more truth. Maybe a few more people will decide not to vote for him.

(17,536 posts)will get in Trump's face, call him out on a lie, talk over him and tell the damn truth. Getting good video of the security dragging them screaming from the room would be outstanding. They would be a national hero to half of the country. Everybody is too focused on protecting their own precious asses and careers to do that kind of thing.
