Check out this interesting video of an aerospace engineer turned Copper Cookware maker constructing high quality pots and pans.
Note, I have ABSOLUTELY ZERO FINANCIAL INTEREST IN THIS PERSON OR HIS FIRM, AND I PUT THIS UP ONLY BECAUSE IT IS FASCINATING.

Well made, high quality cookware is bloody expensive and frankly it should be, knowing what goes into making it.

(31,261 posts)It is really inspiring how much the guy appreciates the craftsmanship involved with what he is doing. He wants his pans to be used a century from now, rare in this disposable minded world.
