This morning reminds me of the Wednesday after Hurricane Katrina

The state knew the problems. The state was overwhelmed. The state had already asked for help. No help was coming. The state had to scramble to find buses.

The federal people were doing a "great job" and patting themselves on the back.

The screaming on TV is going to have to get much, much louder.

The screaming at Congress is going to have to get much, much louder.

Book about Katrina and the crisis and decisions made at a New Orleans hospital. True and chilling. They thought they were ready for a crisis and they weren’t at all. Great read (now that you all have time) reminds me so much of what’s happening now.
