1. Interesting...how about:

(1) old telephone book pages (like newspapers but old phone book pages are thinner and less likely to be abrasive);
(2) used Kleenexes (yours of course), save in a pile by your toilet. Less like to clog the toilet too;
(3) this is more abrasive, but 1/4th of a cut up paper towel (or some smaller dimension);
(4) this is more grosser, but your own hand...that's why in the old days, they cut off the one hand of offenders (I think for stealing), and other folks who saw their appendage cut off would know their crime (stealing), and would avoid them because they would use the other available hand to wipe their behind (only one left);
