I remember the Bush era ending with the 2008 financial crisis.
Do you think the current chaos we are experiencing signals the end of Trump's era?
Who or what was the source of this rotten movement that surged throughout the world in 2015?

Keep fighting.

The only thing to be determined after January 2021 is whether or not his cell should be padded.

On the opening screen of my iPhone theres a blurb from the Washington Post that Trumps base doesnt care that he bungled this crisis.
Weve been seeing threads for years celebrating Trumps demise, but he keeps on ticking no matter what he says or does or doesnt do.
We. Are. Fucked.

I think it behooves the Democrats to operate from the dread that the idiot could steal another victory. It'll keep us hungry and scrappy until election day.

(22,976 posts)And once again (IF theres even an election), those damn swing-states (apologies to all DUers who reside in one) will be deciding the entire election, since the rest of the states are pretty much set in red or blue stone. The usual suspects:
Colorado, Florida, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio, Nevada, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Wisconsin
The Democratic candidate will have to take most of those states to beat Trump. Itll take some serious effort, but Trump is vulnerable. His supporters will view this election as a life-or-death matter (not that we wont). And things could get ugly with the impotent rage bottled up inside the white male Trumpists. 45s their cult leader, the chosen one.
As if this year couldnt get any weirder.
