while 37,000 die each year on the roads. So I guess we over reacted to that too.
Let's shut down this stupid talking point about comparing COVID to the flu or other fatal causes.

They said more people died on the roads than with this flu. I said so far that is true but if I had said the same thing about 9/11 on 9/12 it would have been poorly received.

died from the flu from 10/1/19 to 2/1/20. Okay, maybe some more, but that's the lower bound for the CDC's estimate.
It's dangerous. But when you get 60% people in the 0.2%-might-die range convinced they're doomed, you've already got a more critical shortage of thinking to worry about.
