Things that we are already tired of during this FUBAR fiasco.

The antics of the misadministration are a given, as are panic hoarders and price gougers. What else is annoying you?

Me, it’s the pointless, superficial, nonsensical TV commercials:

“No, I really don’t care about my crow’s feet right now!”

“Why do I need the latest spring fashions? No one is going to see them, and my family would rather have food!”

“You want me to go on vacation? Are you freaking kidding me?!”

Do you know how many BILLIONS of $$ they spend on advertising their products?

About $6 Billion for TV ads every year

Can you imagine if those $$ had been spent on preparing for this kind of crisis? Stockpiling PPE and ventilators?

Read this article for a breakdown of where the rest of their $30 billion/year marketing budget is spent

Was supposed to be April 18. Now, who knows.
Before all this happened I was looking for the “perfect” shoes to go with my “mother” gown. So now FB is constantly showing ads for shoes - the same kind I was looking for - enough already.

Sure, I could see this as an opportunity to improve my skill, but I'm sort of stuck with what's in the pantry.

Felt a sense of relief, forced to shelter in place."Oh goody, I won't have to socially engage with anyone." Now all of a sudden the radio Dj"s touting Saturday night sing alongs out your window, nearby neighborhood having porch "parties". Along w every late night daytime host, celebrity feeling need to post comment on their status. GO AWAY!!! SHUT UP!!! Watch the news, read, sew, movies. I don't GAF what you do quit trying to engage those of us who like the solitude.

I can finally afford gas to go somewhere, but I can't go anywhere.

Ah, well.
