(9,911 posts)Told me she was in an aisle that had 3 other shoppers with carts shopping as well.
Wife said she sneezed twice, then coughed.
Upon stopping, she looked around to see the last if the 3 turning corner of the aisle.

(5,190 posts)but if I start sneezing, it's normally four to five very forceful sneezes, followed by a dizzy spell of a minute or so, then thirty minutes of intense sinus drainage symptoms. If I feel a sneeze about to happen, I have to nearly maul my nose to thwart the tickle or itch that is trying to set off the sneezing. So much for not touching my face in public.

Glad to see there's a plan.

(8 posts)Swabbed last Thursday, told results would be 24 to 48 hours. Being told this Monday morning that it will be maybe Wed or Thursday... If I had coughed in Pence's face last week I would know by now.
Anyway - stay safe everyone!

(9,656 posts)It is funny, but it's also the truth. This is what makes me almost as mad as the fact that Trump ignored everything from January on.

(19,204 posts)That would be the ONLY WAY someone like myself would ever find out if I was COVID-19 positive.

(652 posts)All my daughter and I can do is hope for the best. We are in lock down at her apartment as of tonight. My kids voted unanimously that I had to come here because my high risk husband thinks C19 is no big deal and is 100% positive he won't get it. He takes zero precautions.
My daughter and I are also high risk, and all the kids are afraid my husband will get it and pass it on to me, and I will die.

(19,204 posts)for having the intelligence and will to do what you're doing. Many women wouldn't do that for fear of being called "unsupportive" of their husband. Support of any spouse ends when they're putting your life in danger. You hunker down with your daughter and both of you stay safe, OK?

(11,522 posts)Arguments because he wasnt as careful when he went out as me. But it has hit home last few days and now he goes nowhere but he is also depressed.
I think his not being as careful before was being in denial about it.

(6,110 posts)1. Fever...this is most common symptom from any infection deep inside you body, and common with covid-19.
2. Dry cough with no mucous expelled. Flu will normally produce mucous.
3. Pneumonia like breathing difficulty and general weakness which comes from less oxygen in blood.

(19,204 posts)I watch my health like a hawk, and at the first sign of anything amiss I'll contact my PCP. He and I are family friends and I literally trust him with my life. I used to have his Dad as my PCP, as well as a good friend. I remember his son when he was just a little tyke, and we've had a great relationship his entire life. I'm extremely fortunate to have a Doctor of his caliber and closeness in my life. He'd get me tested if I really needed it, I'm sure.

(6,110 posts)Does your doc inquire about your diet & exercise during every visit?
I have probably seen a dozen different doctors in my 60 years in United States,
and not one time any doc asked me what I was doing for exercise.
But they were all without exception real quick to prescribe medications & tests.

(19,204 posts)I have type 2 diabetes, so every 3 months I get my blood work done for my A1C before my appointment with him. Believe me, if my A1C is high he reads me the riot act. He's always used prescription drugs as a last resort when other methods (more exercise etc.) fail. I had a spinal fusion a few years ago and my exercise regimen took a nosedive, so prescription drugs were prescribed to keep my A1C down around 7.0 He's a well respected Doctor nationally. He's spoken at The Harvard Club, the NYS House and Senate, and many other places nationally as a proponent of universal healthcare in the U.S. I consider myself an extremely fortunate individual to have him as my PCP, and with my Medicare Advantage plan I pay exactly $0 for an appointment. So yeah, I have it made in the shade with my Doctor.
