McConnell suddenly became all righteous and concerned about the country.

I hate to listen to Trump, but I do so because of my belief that it is best to know thy enemy.

McConnell is another thing. To hear him criticize the Democrats and how they are blocking progress on this virus dilemma is about more than I can stomach. One lie after another and he is trying to project a deep concern for the medical community and frustration that the Democrats are blocking a vote on his bill which I understand was mostly written by lobbyists.

I'm hoping this bill does not include billions of bailout for cruise ships, airlines, casinos and hotels, or his slush fund to hand out money to his favorite businesses and, undoubtedly, donors to the Repuke party.

Too little, too late, McConnell. You haven't done a lick of work for the country in the last 3+ years. Don't expect us to bow down to you now.

Good grief. Just open up the treasury and give those clowns a wide berth to grab what they can. Some for me, some for the kids. How stupid does he think we are? On top of that, we aren't to know who/how much/why the recipients for 6 months?

They don't even try to hide it anymore.

Oh, to have a Democrat who could give a jaw dropping oration like this in this miserable era of Der Fuehrer and McConnell!

The only one I have seen who could do it is Sheldon Whitehouse - I wish we saw more of him on tv and less of some of the other blah blah boring Democratic speakers we see so much.

How about speaking right from the gut with passion instead of always consulting notes (Schumer)?

There used to be many congressmen/women who were not afraid of being reelected and said what they wished. There are few of them left, although Adam Schiff did a pretty good job during the impeachment hearings.

McConnell needs to be removed. He has enjoyed way too much power and loves it. Until he is voted out or dies, he will never leave. He has his cash flow running quite well and isn't about to give that up.
