"SNIP.....

Texas Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick (R), chiming in to support President Trump’s new focus on the economy over fierce warnings from public health officials, suggested that he would rather die from the rapid spread of the novel coronavirus than see instability in the American economic system, the Texas Tribune reports.

Said Patrick: “No one reached out to me and said, ‘As a senior citizen, are you willing to take a chance on your survival in exchange for keeping the America that all America loves for your children and grandchildren?’ And if that’s the exchange, I’m all in.”

He added: “I want to, you know, live smart and see through this, but I don’t want to see the whole country to be sacrificed, and that’s what I see.”

.....SNIP"

Because nothing describes US Big Business Community better as sacrificing for the younger generations on things like climate change What a gaslighter.

I'm pretty sure he's speaking for everyone but himself. He knows that he can afford better safeguards and health care than the vast majority of people.

I won't bother looking for brains, though. I'll just be looking to mess him up. (We future zombies have a long memory and no sense of humor whatsoever.)

Much has changed from the "Death Panel" days, when ACA was labelled by the right as a ploy to "pull the plug on Grandma". So now it's not just a matter of putting seniors out to pasture, but having them exposed to a deadly illness, hoping for a "favorable" outcome, then digging a deep hole and getting them tucked away under that grass, soonest. Your kids will love ya for it! Meanwhile, fetus policy appears to be unchanged.

Sacrifice is not something Republicans understand.

Their moral philosophy is three words; Me, Me, Me.

If that were not true, they wouldn't vote Republican.
