And don't reply that if I was "paying attention" it would be obvious.

If his precious stock market doesn’t improve. He’s always looking for scapegoats.

I had no idea where you lived or how old you were. It was an honest question. I meant no animosity.

Jim Jones asked his followers to sacrifice their lives for his cause (and his ego). It seems Trump is asking his followers to risk their lives now for his cause (and his enormous ego), to put themselves in a situation where they could get sick and possibly die to prop up the stock market, so Trump would have a better chance to get re-elected. I assume that’s what the OP was referencing.

The poster surely understands that "drinking Kool-Aid" is a reference to the Jonestown massacre. What was missing from the OP, and puzzling the poster, was any mention of what Trump had done yesterday that amounted to asking his followers to drink the Kool-Aid - that his, Trump's announcement that he expected everyone to return to work a week from now.

There are many Americans who don’t know what Jonestown was. I would assume that someone who lived through it would understand what the OP was saying. I wasn’t trying to be snarky.
