Two things have happened to get the traders excited.

They know that they are about to be handed a windfall of other people's money to gamble with,(nothing is more fun than speculating with other people's money, knowing that they take the hit or you get the gravy) and Donald Trump has announced that he is willing to sacrifice a large portion of the American people to get the economy back on its feet again.

It is all a part of Making America Great Again

Trumps rally today should be a fun and exciting trip through fantasy land.

1. the new conservative bet, they will turn on the economy and hope...

they can make the Democrats look like they were over reacting...just a riff on the opening ploy in this disaster.

2. There will be a round of profit-taking....

And another crash later as traders realize that this bandaid isn't going to save shit. Way too narrow and small-minded.

3. The markets love feel-good fantasies

and have a very short attention span.

4. It's not really a fantasy

Not for them. It is for us and for rubes. But in an unregulated market that we have right now - largely unregulated at any rate - the people who run the market can step away from the table just as the rubes take it in the knickers, then step back up to the table to grab some prophet.
