People who were on the fence - and respect Fauci act like Trump tells them to act. After all, Trump says Italy is so bad because they didn't shut their borders to China as early as we did. Fauci not only remains silent as he says it - BUT - repeats the lie (they shut them as early, and more completely) in a later interview, far more people believe the dangerous lie (the danger is outside) than if Trump, alone had said it.
