Has Trump looked at the graph they made available the illustrates 'flatten the curve'?

It clearly shows that the flattened curve spreads out the cases of virus over a longer period of time in order to alleviate the pressures on hospitals to be able to handle the cases without being swamped beyond capacity.

I don't know if anyone ever explained that to him.

The idea that auto makers can just switch from stamping out auto bodies, bumpers, hoods, doors,
and so on and then start making ventilators or a production line that put together engines can now
start making surgical grade face shields is just fucking nuts.

All he's focused on is the X axis, the time it takes to get back to "normal." That big hump of infections going up the Y axis doesn't mean anything to him, certainly doesn't translate into people getting sick or dying. He just sees that he can get back to his golf and his rallies sooner after all the sickness and death happens. And he doesn't see any of it affecting him.
